That's what Tracy Boyd did to Matthew Kangas in her show Seattle Sketches. He looks to me like the greedy tycoon Soho Eckstein from William Kentridge's work.

As another potential victim, I'm nervous. I may have the power to write, but an artist has the power to show.

From her artist statement for her show at CoCA, opening Thursday (June 11):

Like many emerging artists, Seattle figurative painter, Tracy Boyd, longs to understand key “art scene” people. Who are they, really? What do they do, and what motivates them? She seeks this understanding because she feels these people are in the way of her artistic journey.

She sounds like a real team player.

Greg, she can't play on the team! That's the whole point. Thanks for playing!
