Housekeeping Holy Shit, Slog Happy Is This Week!

How could I almost forget about Slog Happy!? Seeing as how the weather is going to be amazing all week, Thursday's Slog Happy will be at King's Hardware in Ballard! (5225 Ballard Ave NW, right next to Hattie's.) They have a great patio in the back, along with Skeeball and a fantastic happy hour.
The happy hour (which goes until 7 pm) includes $5.50 sliders, $2 pints of Hamm's ($6 pitchers), and $3 wells. Yay for cheap drinks! King's also has fantastic onion rings, sweet potato fries, and a menu of various burgers including my favorite, the After School Special, which is a gooey, messy peanut butter and bacon burger. (Available with a garden patty for vegetarians like myself.)
They also have deer heads on the wall!
So to reiterate: You. Me. This Thursday. Slog Happy. 6 pm. King's Hardware in Ballard. Skeeball. Eternal love.

I've also heard (recycled a near-decade old "New Column") that Megan brought salmon to a vegetarian potluck once and, in doing so, incited Michael Stipe to gripe.

I love cheap drinks and Skeeball, and, against my better judgement, other Sloggers. I will be there celebrating my (temporary) freedom from higher education!

I am by no means a prolific or well-known commenter, but I've lived in Ballard for a couple months now and have yet to go to this bar, so I'll probably show. Hooray.

Shoot, I can't make this one. Oh well, there's always next month! However, if it turns out that I missed the opportunity to meet Kim, I will be very disappointed.

Had fun last month at my first slog happy!! Thank you all for being so nice and fun; even you Mr Poe. So yeah, think will brave the wilds of Ballard for the chance to play skeeball with fellow Slogers, sounds like a good time.
