There's also some election over there someplace called Europe. It's only the biggest transnational election ever. There's like hundreds of millions of people involved.
As we sit here in the USA trying to figure out what the heck do we do, we vote for these democrats then they screw us on dodt and health care and many things, gee whilikers, what to do, what to do, boo hoo, boo hoo, well maybe we should get a bit more educated and not just pay attention to europe when there are nekkid hot tub photos? I mean we love to note how dumb thte GOP is. And if you heard that people over in Europe didn't even know that America had an election and didn't even care about the results .....you'd think they were just stupid.

The groups trying to block the Chrystler sale are quite correct: Senior debt holders do deserve first crack at any assets a company has. That's why they call them SENIOR debt holder. The worry here is if we decide in this case to give stockholders, (particuarly the UAW, with whom I have no ideological arguement, but in this case they are screwing a bunch of pensioners -it's 3 pension funds who brought the complaint- who bought bonds especally BECAUSE they are safer.) preference, then the effect on the bond market could be chilling. And the value of the bond market is roughly 8-10x the value of the stock market... not the thing you want to mess with. Plus it's pretty much a violation of contract law. Interesting to see how it plays out...

How is Obama different from Bush?
On torture, war on terror, gitmo etc there is no real difference in policy.
He has quintupled the deficit (to $2Trillion from $400Billion)
He nominates to the Supreme Court a judge daddy Bush first put on the Federal bench
He is a global media superstar but can't cash in his popularity to get any actual cooperation from Europe or the Middle East.

Thousands of Parisians and tourists lined bridges over the River Seine as their motorcade headed for the traditional French eatery complete with red-chequered table-cloths and red-and-white awnings....Obama chose roast lamb and no wine, the others went for beef fillets."

Prince makes my dick hard.
I expected Top Petty or whoever else was there to walk over and hug him or bow and scrape or something - but Prince beats them all to the punch by immediately turning his back on the whole thing and walking away. Schools out boys.

I love Prince's music. But I have come not to love Prince so much:
