I'm not sure where the Toobs showed in Seattle last, but I saw something that looked like one flying overhead a few months ago.

Can Toobs get away, or did I see something else?

Last time these were up at Volunteer Park, she spent half the day yelling at people not to get close to them, even if people were standing still and the tubes happened to blow in their direction. But for the last hour or so she gave up and a flock of children descended and proceeded to stomp the shit out of them. That made me smile.

This kinda gives me a boner. Does that mean I want to have an orgy with a room full of black men?

Amazing? They're fucking tubes. Cool, yes, but stop sounding like you're tripping balls at every single art project you see.

Sigh...this is the shit that passes for art these days. Wake me back up when having aesthetic value comes back into vogue and every jerkoff who gets stoned and thinks up a visual pun doesn't get declared a "revolutionary figure in the art world."

This should have been a giant phosphorescent sea anemone.

When I saw this post (and before I clicked on the comments), I honestly thought, "Awesome! Nobody will be able to hate on these!". And yet, I'm always still surprised. In case it's not clear, I think these are lovely and if I looked at them for a million years, I doubt I'd be able to find anything to hate about them.

(although @13 made me laugh. if you're going to hate, at least be funny about it.)
