"Gary", the guy in the "Umbrella Corps" outfit was briefly detained, but not actually arrested. SPD even gave back his toy gun & grenade.

Question about people that would threaten a work crew with a gun because they didn't like the way the crew was spraying: how do they make it to their *40s* without being shot?

The ad stated: "May Obama follow in the footsteps of Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley & Kennedy!" All four of those presidents, of course, were assassinated in office. Elchert said when the ad was taken, the staffer who took it "did not make the connection of what tied those presidents together."

I think this makes a pretty strong case for why we need to have historically literate citizens.

The staffer didn't make the connection, but a number of well-versed readers did.
