That's right, shoppers. You can get a salvaged piece of wood for the low, low price of only $250. A smaller salvaged plank is also available at the Square Room for $100.

Maybe you can use it to cover some potholes. (I said "pot" in Dom's post...hehheh)

Third Place Pub is furnished all over with wood like this. It's pretty nice.

That looks pretty comparable to most of Square Room's offerings, in both material and price.

Yes, if you want a shitty warped board, you go to Home Depot and pay very little, and get very little. If you want a nice piece of wood, nice and straight, with interesting grain and knots, no holes, and eighteen inches wide, you'll pay more. You can't get eighteen inches wide at Home Despot. What is that, alder? You'd pay more at a woodworking shop.

How much do you think a nice piece of furniture-grade hardwood lumber costs? Even from a crappy cell phone pic, that doesn't seem outrageous. Classic seattle prissy ignorance.

Those guys know what they are doing. You, not so much. Stick to the narrative, Holden. Go take a shit on IKEA.

COMTE 13
Based on their apparent clientele (or lack thereof, since every time I walk by that place there's never more than two people inside - and I have to assume at least one of them works there), whomever shells out $250 for that slab of wood is more likely to throw it up on a wall, thinking it's supposed to be some sort of enviro-art sculpture piece than use it to restore an antique table top.

Oh god, get a fucking life. Or I know, take another route with that uninformed fat ass Megan Selig. You could go to Urban Hardwoods and purchase a similar piece of salvaged wood for $500. plus, if they will even sell it to you. Just is case you are wondering, yes all of the wood sold and for full price. How do we stay in business? We work hard. BTW, nice tattoo COMTE!
