Do You Know How Depressing It Is

Posted by on Fri, May 29, 2009 at 4:02 PM

...when it's this beautiful outside and the closest you can get to it is a faint reflection of sunshine on your Zac Efron Poster Collection?

That's called employment.

Most of us live it every day.

Whew - I passed out drunk at about noon and just woke up. So nice to see I haven't missed a thing on Slog while I was gone.

If I move back 5 feet, crane my neck, get my co-worker to duck down, and it is clear enough, I can see Mt Olympus from my desk....through some trees.

I can see Pike Place market, Elliot Bay, and the beautiful mountains to my west, Space Needle to my north, and downtown to the east. I actually have to close the blinds so the sun doesn't shine on my computer on this slow afternoon. I think I am gonna slip out for a quick drink a Noc Noc. Again.

Nope.

Sorry, can't relate.

Just staring at the mountains and the green green trees.

I think I'll take a break and go sunbathe.

Honestly, I don't know if I'd swap my unemployment and easy access to beautiful weather for a job right now. Being poor and moving toward poverty ain't so bad.

Yeah, I'm thinking that would be depressing regardless of the weather.

just so you know, the guy in the poster in the back, (the red, white and blue one), isn't zac. so really, it's just a pair of posters.

I love the Obama poster. I'd put one up by my desk but the lone Republican in the office would have a hissy fit. They're such whiny assholes.
