Sorry for the belated opportunity for jokes/outrage—I keep forgetting to post this—but here's a story in the L.A. Times about how more people are raising miniature cows. For BEEF.

Bethany Dear, you may not know this, but people raise regular cows for beef too. Milk and beef is just about the only thing you can do with a cow. They're not good pets.

Just think of mini-cows as mini-greenhouse-gas generators.

Do the world a favor and light em on fire.

There is one more thing you can do with a cow, as any boy who grew up in Montana can attest.

They're a little bigger than the ones the size of schnauzers they use to make the Mini-Sirloin burgers at Jack-in the Box. The way things are going, we may all need to keep one in the back yard.

@8, @9, if it won't burn, you're not using enough gas.

"If it won't burn, you're not using enough gas."

I could probably manage to stuff a couple pounds of gunpowder up his ass too. Might add to the entertainment value.

I once saw a website that described making miniature animals (kittens specifically) using the same methods the Japanese use to make Bonsai trees. (Yes I know it was a hoax).

Shetland ponies are cute but Chihuahua dogs are annoying. I wonder if small cows are high strung and yappy like the latter or tolerant of little kids riding them like the former?

Bethany, you need help. You obviously have some irrational deep-seated murderous hatred of animals. What happened, did you get locked in a pen with a bunch of ill-tempered pigs as a child? Kicked by a cow? Bitten by a dog? Pecked by birds at the annual family summer picnic? Thrown from a horse? Chased by an escaped komodo dragon at the zoo? Something apparently scarred you so deeply that your only response to an animal is to want to kill and devour it. It's really kinda scary.

Bethany's got another meat story! Must be... Well, any day of the week, I guess.
