Mary Kay Letourneau is hosting a "Hot for Teacher" night at Fuel in Pioneer Square this Saturday. The DJ is her former student/reason for prison/current husband Vili Fualaau.

I...I ah... have no idea what to say.

The levels of wrongness in this story blows my mind.

How wonderfully wonderful. Am I wrong, or has it been quite the afternoon of "sexcrime" posts?

Queen of Sleaze 6
One time I was at a show at El Corazon and Vili and Mary Kay were there.... Vili totally hit on me... It was really gross. Once the nausea passed I began to wonder if he's just a slimy little doucheface (likely), or if he and Mary Kay have an open relationship.

@9: The KOMO story says they've already done two that "were low-key, and... patrons really warmed up to the couple."

Is it just me or is having Mary Kay host a Hot for Teacher Night sorta like having a Catholic Priest host NAMBLA Night at Neighbors (please god tell me Neighbors doesnt actually have a NAMBLA night...)?

Wait, didn't he sue his school district for $2 million for failing to protect him from Letourneau? Oh, right, he did. Well, everybody's gotta make a buck somehow...

@3: I agree. This seems totally fake.... but maybe just because normal people would never, ever think to do this?

Gah.

What's really sick-making is that this isn't the first one. They've "hosted" these before.

YUCK.

And to all those who've been asking, no, the little Lolita in the schoolgirl costume is most assuredly not Mary Kay.

Has Mary Kay continued to prey on middle school boys? Or was Vili the only one?

I guess I'm going against the grain here, but I want to take their side. No doubt, they are just trying to grab the celebrity from their unfortunate circumstances (ala Elizabeth Edwards), but at the same point, they are both happy adults.

Who the hell are we to judge?

I'm tempted to go just for the spectacle of it all. And I would never be caught dead in that nightclub otherwise.

Mary Kay's dad was a right-wing Congressman from Orange County, who was too extreme for the John Birch Society.

Maybe this is what growing up in a large family drives you to do.

And miss the opportunity to create a memorable Mary K. anecdote? I don't know, I'd consider dropping by to see if this is legit. If I do I'll try and get a picture with the happy couple for Slosterity.

Something I wonder is how many of the people decrying Mary Kay and Villi Fulaau as a sick affair are the same people insisting that prostitution is fine because it's consensual.
