James Donaldson's New Consultant

Posted by on Wed, May 20, 2009 at 3:12 PM

Cindi Laws—the onetime monorail board member and consultant to city attorney candidate Peter Holmes who switched camps to work for city attorney Tom Carr—is reportedly now working for mayoral candidate James Donaldson. Laws has not yet returned a call for comment.

Blair Butterworth, Donaldson's former campaign consultant, left Donaldson's campaign to — probably — to work for all-but-certain mayoral candidate Jan Drago last week. Drago says an announcement about her intentions will come "this weekend."

I am naming my first child Blair Butterworth, no matter the sex. It has been decided.

James, there is still time to change back to a City Council race. You'd have better luck against Conlin.

Coincidentally, @1, I'm loving the name "Cindi Laws".

can there be a moratorium on mentioning drago until she declares? she is far more interesting as a maybe candidate (ooh...how would the race change, because right now it's really boring) than as an actual mayoral candidate.

right now the take away for politicians is be an indecisive tease -- that way you'll get way more press and attention -- and the last thing Seattle needs is more indecisive politicians. please stop rewarding this crap.
