You neglected to mention Intiman Theatre Artistic Director Bart Sher has finally decided to relinquish his double-paycheck - at the end of 2010:

What a lovely First Lady we have. It's good to know the arts have a defender in the White House.

Whoa, did they really throw in "except it's not marriage" to the ballot language? Doesn't that fly in the face in their assertion that this is redefining marriage? And doesn't it cause people to ask the question, "well, why isn't it?"

It was when they made clear reference to DPs not being marriage that the support for Domestic Partnerships shot through the roof. This seems really fishy.

Are they trying to build their base and force marriage to a vote next year by having Ref 71 pass overwhelmingly? Do they think they have to get the question out there as soon as possible? Swecker himself was adamant that he would get the conversation rolling one way or another, and by closing this door the only discussion would be full marriage equality.

Give me a break she was giving a speech in a museum not a rally. She's so passionate in everything she does, I just love seeing her give out hugs, there's just no hypocrisy when she gives them. Refreshing

God, I want a similar dress to that, in peach.

I guess it's time to cut up that American Express card, then.

@7: No kidding. I use my AMEX by default to get the points and pay it off at the end of the month. If these measures are adopted, I'll use the old ATM and just make purchases that truly require credit on the AMEX.

How amazingly backwards that the good customers are actually the bad ones, because the bad ones end up being worth more income in the long run.

@ 7 and 8:
Totally, this plan will go down in flames. It's the classic adverse selection problem in economics. The good borrowers will default to cash or debit if they're going to be automatically charged interest with no grace period, etc.
