Joey: I wish it were up somewhere, but not that I know of. Her work was in "WACK!" and was featured in January's issue of Art in America, where I saw this piece reproduced: http://www.artinamericamagazine.com/feat….

Sometimes blogging here makes me feel like this woman...

I live in Vienna, where there is a big art exhibit going on featuring her.

Why do I mention this? Well, this picture is on posters all over the ****ing city!

I hate it.

Anyone ever watch "The Gate," that terrible "kids" horror movie from the '80s?

Reminds me of the demons.

Oh yeah! I do recognize her style from the work she had in WACK! - that huge portrait with the green background... Thank you for the WACK! flashback (WACKback??) Thank you also for selecting this piece to share and for titling your post as you did. I feel that way too sometimes in my little struggles at consiousness raising, and it's so good to be reminded that we are part of a wider web of women who know the same feeling. It's moving to see another woman portray that feeling as stark and BIG. I love that this piece is large. Now I really want a print. Thanks again.
