If we're doing all the sports, maybe you could mention about how the Rat City Rollergirls won tonight in Albuquerque, and also last weekend in San Francisco. Yay sports.

The bandwagon instant Red Sox fans that materialize every time the team is in town just keep getting more annoying. Having grown up in Massachusetts, sure, I like the Sox, too, but I don't get the pathology going on with the local Masshole transplants during these series. It's embarrassing.

@2 - Agree 100%. It was bearable before the Sox won the Series, but now ... !

The same thing will happen to the Cubs if they ever win one.

I agree with #1. You're supposed to be the alternative paper, right? The Seattle Times, a bajillion TV and radio stations, and a gazillion websites cover every move of the Mariners and Sounders. Next to nobody covers the Rat City Rollergirls (hint: they're an alternative sport). Who else but you?

Rat City Rollergirls = Fat Chicks (and a couple who aren't fat yet) skating around and some weirdos on their sidelines trying to act like one of those fake wrestling managers. Sorry fat chicks and people who like to see fat chicks skate in a circle, but that's not a sport.
