The Gay Conspiracy

Posted by on Mon, May 11, 2009 at 8:42 AM

A gay man is running for a US Senate in Florida—and it looks like he's got a real shot. And a beard. Gee, I always thought that Barney Frank would be the first gay man in the US Senate. Go, Charlie!

Gee, and I thought all along that you were opposed to hypocritical, Republican mouth-breathers. Why the sudden change of heart ("go Charlie")? Does the fact that he's gay make him less of a hypocrite?

Wonkette loves Charlie Crist and that poor lady he had to marry even though he didn't get the nomination for VP last year.

And Barney Frank is in the House, not the Senate, so Charlie and his tan would be all alone.

"I always thought that Barney Frank would be the first gay man in the US Senate."

Come on Dan, "first" that is unlikely unless the others are actually bisexual, queer, or opportunists.

First _openly_ gay senator; maybe.
