I would like to keep my guns, thank you very much. You know why? Because these guys have them. Know who else does? Stormfront. If that's not a reason to keep and bear arms, then I don't know what else to say.

If you'll recall, there was a "terroist hunting" permit that had the same format. So, effectively "liberals" have surpassed terrorists as the most attractive targets. Really nice.

When I was in Tucson visiting my boyfriend I saw a ton of this kind of redneck shit. One of them I clearly remember was a big sign on a neighbourhood house that said "License to Shoot and Kill Liberals at Will" and that same house had a bunch of "No Trespassing!!!" and "My other Gun is a 30-0-6". It was extremely conservative, worse even than Black Diamond or Auburn....ok, ok, that last one was a joke. Totally. I think I am still scarred by the time I drive through Auburn on my way to Algona-Pacific to visit a friend. I passed a trailer park with a humongous confederate flag flying, and later on I was shouted at/harassed by two kids on the street because I was listening to -gasp! dancehall in my car and they didn't like it. . Scarred for life I tell ya!

I'm curious as to how much Borat has finally exposed America to these types of things that have been around, in some form or another, for decades.
I have some issues with the work of Sasha Baron Cohen, but his deliberate way of coaxing out indemic racism, bigotry, etc. (via Borat, Ali G, Bruno, etc.) has been a gold star for humanity.
Not to single Cohen out as the lone influence, as more successful expose-cum-films (no pun intended!) have been popular especially this decade especially, like Fast Food Nation or Inconvenient Truth...
...so now when I see shit like "License to hunt liberals" posters or bumper stickers, I don't get scared anymore. I think "wait, was that in Borat too?", etc.

We should get guns of our own? That's assuming I haven't always been armed, liberal, and pissed off. I've pretty much been all three since I was about 18 and bought my first shotgun.
