Police looking for teens in attacks outside Qwest Field

A group of teens attacked two men Saturday outside Qwest Field after breaking into and boozing in a Metro Rideshare van.

Police are still searching for them.

A cook who was heading to a bank near Fourth Avenue South about 2:20 p.m. saw the suspects pop open a window in the unoccupied Metro Rideshare van.

The suspects followed the man into a pedestrian bridge where they confronted him, yelling expletives and asking if he was a gang member because of a blue bandana he had in his back pocket.

"He knew he was going to be attacked and feared for his safety," officer Merry O'Cleary wrote in her report.

The suspects ran and grabbed the bandana from his pocket. The man made it to the street and held on to his bank deposit. He called 911 after depositing his money at the bank.

"In the meantime," O'Cleary wrote, "the suspects went back to the Ride Share Van and waited for another victim."

The second victim was a man who rode a bus from Bellevue and was walking across the same pedestrian bridge toward the Qwest north parking lot.

The man was listening to his iPod when he was suddenly "struck violently on the right side of his face from behind and fell to the ground," according to the report.

One of the juveniles was yelling for him to give up his jacket.

"They were kicking him as he curled up in a ball trying to remove his jacket and protect his camera bag," O'Cleary wrote. "He felt multiple kicks to his right side, and a kick struck him on the mouth, splitting his lower lip."

The thugs took his jacket and fled down an alley near Tiki Bob's Cantina at 166 S. King St. A man who witnessed the attack from his fourth-floor apartment ran to help.

The man, who had his cell phone stolen, declined medical attention. He told police he relied on hockey training and tried to protect his head during the attack.

Officers determined the thugs entered the Rideshare van through an unlatched side window. Police found empty chip bags, a beer can and two small liquor bottles on the floor.

Police were investigating to see if either incident was caught by Qwest Field security cameras.

All three suspects were described as black, either 16 or 17 and roughly 5-foot-8.

The first suspect was about 150 pounds, with a slim build and black hair in short dreadlocks. He was wearing oversized clothes.

The second suspect was about 180 pounds with black hair. The third teen was also about 180 pounds and wore a red baseball cap and white T-shirt.

Anyone with information about the attacks is asked to call Seattle police.

Aribert "Dr. Death" Heim has found a legal outlet for his frustrations. He runs a string of partial birth abortion clinics in Kansas (He was a big donor to HHS Sec Kathleen Sebelius)

His handiwork:

The Met Costume Ball was last night, and Madonna took a night off from her African child-snatching career to dress up like a drunken chambermaid and cavort with her teenaged Brazilian boyfriend.

Kate Moss was all in gold lame, with a turban. She's looks like some aging and attenuated guest star on the Love Boat. I hope she broke out into a number or something.

Anna Wintour. I can only assume Karl arranged to deliver this dress by Kindle, rendering woman and garment completely flat.

See the fancy people all dressed up!

The John Edwards thing deserves a mention. A federal prosecutor is going after him. If his massive payments to his bimbo were from campaign funds, he's looking at years in jail.

His wife Eliz. has a book out. She claims she had to keep silent about his g.f. during his campaign. Right. Complicit in his cover up. Democratic hopes would have been blown apart fer sure had he won the nomination.

What a power-hungry lying-liar couple they turned out to be.

Specter says he didn't pledge any votes to the democrats, won't vote for the health care proposal & won't vote for the pro-unionization bill. And holy moly, Obama is already backing this guy in a primary next year against all comers, including folks like Sestak who could win statewide.

Hey Obama, remember, you're s'posed to get a quid, pro quo!!

Finally, as to Hillbabe's approval rating, don't even mention it.

Jihad hip hop is really just Arabic hip hop that peaked in the 90s in Europe.

Cool vid.

Note: Iraq wants the US military out of cities, NOT out of Iraq entirely.

Ergo: The US is defining certain parts of Baghdad as outside the city's limits, and in other parts of the country US combat troops are simply being redeployed from central cities to the suburbs. According to one U.S. soldier, "What you’re seeing is not a change in the numbers, it’s a doctrine change."

Nice callout to the original slash relationship, and still probably the most believable.

RE: RapidRide buses

About damn time they've added an in-bus display for upcoming stops. Pierce and InterCity Transit were years ahead of the Metro on this one.
