Three events tonight.

Up at Third Place Books, Cokie Roberts reads from We Are Our Mothers' Daughters. My intern disagrees with Ms. Roberts' titular assessment.

J. Robert Lennon reads at Elliott Bay Book Company from his new book, Castle, which is a compelling novel with a dull narrator. Lennon is one of those authors who is just always excellent at what he does. He's one of those few authors who has a truly great body of work. Not one book is a serious misstep. Seriously, just pick the one that most appeals to you and start reading. They're all good.

And at Benaroya Hall, David Sedaris reads. Sedaris is one of the funniest men on earth. However, since he is also reading tomorrow night at Benaroya Hall, J. Robert Lennon is the reading of the night tonight.
