I thought this was an interesting discussion and I enjoyed reading peoples thoughts on it all. So, it really caught my attention to read that in Oklahoma they have taken to using undercover police to patrol crusing areas, arresting individuals, and posting their mug shots and names: http://newsok.com/in-sting-oklahoma-city…. Oklahoma is 180 degrees different from Denmark and The Netherlands on this subject.

those who don't get the issue as civil rights violations are stupid - in this area, it is the biggest form of repression and discrimination - vice cops think it is sport to entice a gay man and then bust him for a hand on the shoulder, felony assault
straights can fuck under the blanket, gay men get arrested for erotic touching, sometime all clothed
Dan has a big streak of prude now that he makes big fee money on stages in college towns - I wonder if he felt the same in his own college days and at the baths in Seattle?

Cops do it here too, although I haven't read about it recently. They did a big bust in Woodland park at least three years ago, which was totally loaded. Pretty cops go in and flirt with gay guys who are probably a little penis happy, but they tend to grab more people than would really be a sex-offender.
