"I Can't Help Catching Pandemic Flu"

Posted by on Wed, Apr 29, 2009 at 12:40 PM

Former Stranger staffer Ari Spool ran away to New York, but she passed this along this afternoon after hearing about it in WFMU:

It's from 2006, but wow, how timely!

Sent this off to my wife who works in Public Health.

We can let their ground troops decide if it's funny or not.

I vote funny. Singing sucks but great potential for the next Jib-Jab product.

Hey you have to have a little humor to get thru this! Meanwhile keeping up with latest CDC and WHO reports is important and just wash your hands!

Thanks for posting the link to my song. Do people really think the singing sucks? It was the best I could do to get a bunch of Public Health professionals to sing along with me.

It was written originally to draw attention to the developing bird flu, but I guess it can apply to all flu(s) well into the future.

Beware the next mutation!!
