I Feel Safer Already

Thank God the cops intervened when this naked man started dancing around at Coachella. Nudity is so undignified, and the police are really good at helping people reclaim their dignity.

There should be a law against people with tiny dicks ever getting naked, for any reason. You add the fat gut you have yourself a serious violation of disgusting hippy nakedness right there.

Can police officers really not be trained to try to detain a person without a weapon?
I mean, this guy is resisting but it seems like the taser is a lousy shortcut that frees the police from putting forth just a little more effort.

That was like watching three huge cats take down a big bunny rabbit and bite its neck repeatedly just because they could. Yeah I know he was naked. But it just seemed wrong...

When did nudity on a public venue became legal? Small peanut guy was asking for it. The officers only fault was their late reaction and not clearing the freaks surrounding their intervention. It could have gotten way much uglier with a crowd like that.

So the Slog commenter consensus is, he deserved it? That's pretty shocking. That was really heavy-handed and brutal. And, tell, me, is the gross obesity of cops a tactical tool, making them hard to push around?

The guy who deserved tasing was the guy shouting "the whole world is watching" over and over. Flurd. "The whole world is standing there and doing nothing" more like. Kudos to the woman who shook his hand and the guy who gave him water.

As for "peanut", maybe he's a grower, not a shower.

(a) that is one tiny tiny penis. Does it even count as indecent exposure?

(b) this guy is just like a giant child who won't behave. When you're a child and you take off your clothes in public & won't put them back on again, and throw a tantrum, your parents give you a spanking or a time-out, or whatever. When you try this as an adult, the police treat you like an adult who is resisting the police. Not smart at all.

(c) @5 -- the guy went from refusing his clothes to actively fighting back. The taser probably saved him from having the shit beat out of him. If by "putting forth a little more effort" you mean "beating the shit out of a pasty idiotic hippie," then he's probably lucky they were so lazy. If they actually enjoyed beating people up, they totally had justification to do it.

It was disturbing to watch, but the guy was asking for it.

@ 5 - Totally agree. I can accept that they had to take the guy away for violating public nudity laws. What I can't accept is that they could've cuffed the guy very early on, but didn't. No, they just HAD TO get in a few licks because the guy was making their job a little more difficult. Fucking cops.

@ 2, 3, 4, and everybody in the crowd - Hope you enjoy living in a police state.

Now, what if all of those kids had taken their clothes off, too, as a protest? What could the cops have done? There were only three of them. THAT would have been the correct response, not making a video so they could post it on the stupid fucking internet. The internet has proven to be a very effective tool to keep people passive.

The naked guy was the only one there with any balls, even if you couldn't see 'em.

Nobody wants to look at your ugly dick, butthole, or vag. Put some clothes on you ugly smelly dirty hippies. Learn how to behave in a public place. Yeah, fuck you, Sloggers. The guy was fucking NAKED. Unless he had an AK-47 hidden up his ass, he presented no physical threat to the THREE officers trying to detain him.

If those guys couldn't control him without using a weapon, then all three of them should think about taking desk jobs. They are obviously physically incapable of doing real police work.

No wonder the USA is going down the shithole and is fast becoming 3rd world toilet. You people act like being able to publicly display your shriveled dicks and buttholes is some kind of groundbreaking civil rights issue, meanwhile the whole world is falling apart and World War 3 is about to start, but all you morons are too concerned and worried about the pleasures of your shriveled penises, buttholes, and vaginas. PENIS BUTTHOLE VAGINA PENIS BUTTHOLE VAGINA all day long on Slog.

"No wonder the USA is going down the shithole" -- uh huh, because hippies dancing naked at concerts is a new phenomenon. Monterey Pop was FORTY TWO YEARS AGO and we're all still here (well, not Jimi or Mama or Otis or John Frigging Entwhistle, but you get my drift). Dancing hippies are unsightly, perhaps, but hardly signal the end of civilization.

Get a new meme, conservative blowhards.

If you look at time from a slightly larger perspective, then in the 40 years since naked hippie dancing started, the USA has definitely slid down the shit slide towards 3rd world status, and hippie bullshit is a big cause of that decline.

@ 12, 15, 17, & 21 - Grow the fuck up!

The human body is NOT offensive, even when it's a little overweight and not well-endowed. (I'll bet you people would have been A LOT more offended if he had a 2' dick!) Go to a nude beach, be around naked people, and GET THE FUCK USED TO IT!!!

It amazes me how prudish supposedly liberal people can be...

A nude beach is one thing, aconcert with a naked smelly drugged-out hippie moron who had plenty of chances to stay out of trouble is totally another thing. Nudity at a nude beach is appropriate. Nudity at a public concert is not.

I don't want some naked stinking hippie's ass sweat rubbing up against me, period. It is disgusting. It is not "prudery", nude beaches are great, but at a nude beach you know what to expect and even a nude beach has standards of appropriate behavior. This guy was a stupid fucking doped up hippie who was behaving inappropriately and being an asshole. He had plenty of chances to avoid being tazed and arrested, the cops were originally being nice to him and gave him a chance to put his clothes back on. They could have just arrested him outright immediately.

I saw this guy before the cops showed up. He wasn't a problem because he was naked - it was because he was obviously tripping balls and potentially dangerous to himself and others. Would've been better to have an EMT crew handle it instead of the cops.

@29 Tripping balls while naked in an open field is pretty safe. Unless there was a giant wood chipper for him to accidentally fall into, how would he be dangerous?

@28 "They could have just arrested him outright immediately." And, they could have just arrested him after giving him a chance to get dressed. But, instead they chose to fucking taze him. Absolutely no reason for that.

Be grateful you only got the taser.

Regardless of whether or not you think the naked hippie met your aesthetic standards, the use of the taser was completely unjustified.

Tasers are potentially deadly weapons. People have died from being tased. Despite his petulant idiocy, naked dude posed no threat whatsoever to 3 cops. If three cops can't apprehend an unarmed naked stoned doughy hippie without resorting to potentially deadly force, they should be stripped of their badges.

i'm on the cops side. Its hard to reason with someone who's really, really high. They were WAY patient with him and then I'm sure they grew very tired of him fighting back, not getting dressed and the growing crowd around them. And I usually hate cops.

I don't know if a 'lil peanut's really going to grow into something substantial.

@24 - I was #15. Sorry, I just noticed he had a tiny penis. I wasn't offended by it (or the fact that he was naked), I just... noticed it. Was I supposed to not notice it? Or not notice that he was naked? The best I could do was notice and not care. Sorry if that's not good enough.

Oh -- I should apologize for making fun of his tiny penis. Sorry, Mr. Naked Guy - it was rude of me to do that, and I apologize.

How's that? Is that enough? Anything else you'd like me to do? Because I really don't mind.

You'd (apparently) be surprised. There is no relationship at all between flaccid and erect sizes.

I think the key part was when that one cop pulled out his taser, then the two holding the wizard guy on the ground let him go suddenly - of course he tries to take off. Then they can justify that he was trying to flee and taser him - totally disgusting move by the cops. And multiple tasering? He wasn't really resisting that hard, and three cops should have been able to get a stoned naked guy out of the crowd without resorting to that. Or at least realize there are worse things in the world than seeing somebody naked at a concert.

All of you assholes who think he deserved tasering for that should just move to a totalitarian country and shut the fuck up. I would rather err on the side of leniency in policing adults who are not hurting anyone than a police state.

@30, Coachella is no "open field." You'd be safer (and smarter) tripping balls in an actual open field -- even one with a wood chipper -- than at a crowded, cop-patrolled music/arts festival crammed with tens of thousands of people and filled with all sorts of potentially dangerous equipment/obstacles.

I was there. This happened in the VIP area by the Sahara tent, during the Crystal Castles show. I can tell you the guy had it coming.

He was very, very high, and not in a good way. I'm talking PCP, etc, and it was starting to make him violent. The cops spent a lot of time trying to reason with him, trying to get his clothes on him, trying to drag him away. He would have none of it. They had to taze him multiple times to have any effect, assumedly because of the drugs.

In my view, if you get this high in public, you have to take the good with the bad. Which is another way of saying: If you're too high to know that you can't fuck with cops, then you can't complain when you get tazed.

I mean, we can talk about how silly anti-nudity laws are all we want, but you know...that's like, the law and stuff. If you're really interested in changing it, there are better ways to go about it than shooting a speedball and getting all aggro with the cops.

Having said that, I agree this would have been better handled by EMTs, as someone earlier in the thread mentioned.

And about the penis: It was indeed freakishly small. My friends and I estimated that even if it grew to 5 times its size when erect, it would still be smaller than a canned vienna sausage. Every guy there felt better about themselves after seeing his "package" (more like a postcard).

You know, I have an 8 inch cock (which isn't anything to brag about), and it gets really, really small when it's really, really cold, but nowhere near that small. I don't believe this guy could possibly pass 6 inches erect, which is pathetic.

He should be killed.

Wow, you are all some cold-blooded assholes. Don't worry, though - you'll all get your chance to be tazed and openly mocked in public soon enough. The winner, though, as always, is Loveschild. We here at slog have had to lisetn to that stupid bitch lecture us about how evil & godless we are, and yet here she is ACTUALLY LAUGHING at someone who was literally tortured in front of a group of spectators for being high & naked. WOW. Listen up shit-head, your Slog privileges are hereby revoked. You are the most revolting, fake-ass Christian asshole in the WORLD. Anyone who could so glibly respond to that video, to actually think it was FUNNY, is not only NOT a Christian, but is probably not even a human being. @ 42

The reason why they let go was so they didn't get tazed. There was no damn secret motive. I'm not excusing the incident, but people that hold on to others while the tazer is being deployed run the risk of being tazed as well

Watch any video of police officers tazing someone and as soon as the tazer comes out other officers will let go because if you've EVER been tazed ( a lot of CA agencies taze the officers in training so they know what it feels like and what to expect.) it obviously sucks.

Believe me...the officers didn't need the stupid fleeing reasoning to taze him. They would have done it regardless of that
