Or you could go to Moe Bar and hang out with the Washington Bus - (or start there ...)

I wish the Stranger would give super-duper early endorsement hints so I could tell who the hell is worth volunteering for or donating money to.

Constantine is a fratboy, a follower of football.

This is tonight, and many people are coming down after the Wash Bus party at Nuemos. So you should hit up both.

@6 - Dow is a Huskies fan. That's a good thing. He's also an effective progressive who can help move the County forward and within a budget. And he's a huge music fan and supporter of the local music community like no one else on County Council has ever been.

@7
Yeah, he's hip to DOA. He's a big fan of the Melvins.

Larry Phillips has more exec. experience, Dow is going to be a contender as well - will be interesting to see of the two good Dems. who gets the nod.

Either will be better than dear Susan, the R.

The only time I've seen Dow Constantine in person he was introducing John Doe at the West Seattle Block Party. It's gonna be hard for Larry Phillips to top that.

@9 - Larry has more executive experience with the County for sure. He should be given ALL the credit for that. It's exactly why we need the fresh perspective of Dow in there. Larry is part of the problem.

#11 - as far a policy they are the Bobsy Twins - get real - they vote exactly the same.

Personal style will decide and $$$$.
Phillips is a great campaigner and Dow is cuter.

"fresh perspective"

they are both on the same County Council

are you suggesting Dow is an outsider? Geez.

Larry has no more "exec experience". Yes, he has been on the council for 18! years, but never exec. He worked for an exec back before cell phones existed. Both Dow and Larry are experienced, progressive leaders. Listen to both of them if you can in the coming months. Talk to friends who follow politics. There are three big political figures in Washington State--governor, mayor of Seattle, and King County Executive. If you want an agent of change, there is a clear choice in this race.
