My first thought was - Wow, that was really well made. Concise and hitting all the right points. and The jump cuts were a little harsh though.

The second thought was Matt Damon on Will and Grace - Well, I was a little nervous, so I wore my tightest T-shirt and I DO think they noticed.

I'm behind anything that Ricky from My So-Called Life advocates.

I am not normally a baby person, but... I do declare that those were some cute-ass babies. How can you be against gay marriage after seeing those cute-ass babies? You can't. Just give up.

Great ad, but no lesbian couples?

Those guys with their babies are quite possibly the cutest family I've seen. I say that from a place of love and respect for their equality, and from a place that is kind of pervy and won't stop watching that section of the clip.

That was well-made and sweet.

Though I have to say that seeing the couple with the two babies, all I could think was "I sure hope that they remember to make time for themselves, cause they're going to have their hands full for a good long while."

Hats off to any couple that chooses to raise a baby, but more than one infant at the same time, two parent home or not - well, that's just a special kind of awesome.

The format NOM chose was overly solemn to begin with, which is why it makes such great parodies.

Better that counter PR efforts completely transcend the NOM mistake with a light, brisk, common sense mood.

Or at least lose the portentous cloudscape backdrop.

Great ad. Sweet families, too.

@11: And doom chords.

Doom chords are this year's scare grooms.

What's the difference between faith and religion?

I liked how they used a font that could actually be *read* to highlight that these are *real* people.

Admit it, Dan. That whole NOM thing is an inside job, innit?

Who's the cutie in the yellow shirt? Is she gay? Is she single?

Much as I LOVE the parodies (I think Stephen Colbert gets 1st prize, but then he has a TV show), I LOVE this video because it is so affirmative. Unlike the ridiculous No on 8 campaign, this is out and proud!! Also, it has the two hot daddies with the twins.

@15 I was thinking she wasn't gay. But, that's judging on visuals.

Then, again, I thought the same for the girl with the family.

...

Also, Angel from Party Monster has some big ass tits. Bigger than the lesbians, I think.

He's still kind of hot, even with them big-ass tits in the tight-ass shirt.

Nice ad. but all that talk about diversity, they exclude the lesbian couples.
5 women, 11 men, 33 seconds of women, 58 seconds of men.

FAIL

Colbert did it far better--I didn't laugh once during the whole bit! SNL has really gone downhill.

I must say, I was really impressed by that. It seriously made my day. An intelligent, heartwarming, and well-done response. Kudos to everyone involved.
