Polish Politician Attacks Gay Elephant

Posted by on Fri, Apr 10, 2009 at 1:26 PM

The Daily Beast correctly identifies both the headline (above) and the quote (below) of the day:

We didn't pay 37 million zlotys for the largest elephant house in Europe to have a gay elephant live there.

So much for homosexuality being a "learned behavior", unless Loveschild wants to argue teh Gaylephant learned this from watching two male chimpanzees getting it on.

Oh, but wait. Where would teh Gaypanzees have learned this behavior?

Maybe they'd been watching one of the OTHER 1,499 animal species that practice gay sex.

Sure, for $20m zlotys we would take a gay elephant. But, for $37m - it better be straight!

i thought elephants were all "if it moves, fuck it".

It's all speculation anyway. The elephant in question hasn't hit puberty yet. He is aggressive toward girl elephants and friendly toward boy elephants. So they are assuming he must be gay. But so far he is too young to fuck either gender. So nobody really knows for sure.

I found this story very telling of the limits that some are willing to go to promote their ideologies. As the story states this elephant hasn't yet reached sexual maturity and yet gay activist are already attributing some gay tendency based on the simple observation that hes always with other male elephants. LMFAO Based on that every 10 year old boy has some gay tendency he needs to struggle with. It has also been documented that caged animal not meant to be imprisoned start to show unnatural pathologies as a way to cope with an environment that's alien to them.
