Glenn Beckwatch

Posted by on Fri, Apr 10, 2009 at 8:39 AM

Holy fucking shit. Good morning!:

"President Obama, why don't you light us on fire?" This guy is either off the deep end or the most amazing satirist the world has ever seen. I was never a fan of Olbermann's huffy-puffy "Have you no shame, sir?" schtick, but this makes Olbermann look like Walter motherfucking Cronkite.

I'm guessing that was vinegar and water.

I hate to use a cliche joke but I bet one of the three producers sitting around the monitor watching this program drops the line, "now that's good television."

Well, good morning to you, too, Glenn Beck!

So, please, Pres. Obama, shoot him in the head already. Or set him on fire. He's even requested it!

So the first African American president is going to return us all to "slavery"? Unbelievable.

Why are you watching fox? Why are you giving them hits?

I have a problem with comparing him to Keith Olbermann. Keith stays in his box and does his little dance there, but Glenn Beck goes all over the country flogging us with his tears.

If anyone, you should be comparing him to Cindy Sheehan.

I'm trying to come up with strategies for avoiding the subject of GB with my girlfriend's extended family at Easter dinner. From what I know, a lot of them totally 'got' what he was saying.

It's too bad that guy he pours the "gas" on is a conservative (and needs a haircut). He's pretty cute. Oh, and Glenn Beck... Um, what @4 said.

So... now he's mad about "legalizing the illegals" now that it's not W's idea? Okaaaaayyyy...

And did he just say that he (HE!?), along with the rest of the country, voted for change? Hee. That's funny.

So what? Can't take that Obama is being theatrically trashed

The electric chair is much better, and it's not for 'us' Glenn it's only for you! If only it were true.

Whenever anybody threw rhetoric like that around concerning a conservative, conservatives called it treason. Thank the Gods we're in charge again.

Let this fuckslave run his fucking mouth. He'll grow some yummy okra once he's properly positioned on the dungheap of history.

However, if some nut Oswalds Our O, and there's evidence to suggest he ever watched this fuckslave, then Mr. Beck's setting himself up to be tried under the Law of Parties.

I got six second in before I had to stop. I'm having a pleasant morning with my coffee and my dog and my couch, and I don't particularly want to ruin it...

Glenn Beck is on the cutting edge... of treason.

Regardless of his message, that was stupider than an SNL skit.

@15Same here. I'm at work just stuffing envelopes, but that man's voice just grates on my nerves too much.
@11 And it's not the fact that he's being theatrically trashed, it's that Beck lies and incites people that may be already slightly unhinged to just go for it and "preemptively strike" the goddless liberals.

The worst part of Glenn Beck is that every article on him has to point out that he grew up here in Washington.

That said, this was sort of a weak attempt at a Daily Show or Colbert style skit that just illustrates for the umpteenth time that right wingers have no sense of humor (or souls).

I defy any of you to actually sit through Fox News' late night "humor" show, Red Eye, just until an ad break. I'd rather be waterboarded.

Colcol: You and me both. Sad part is I'm no good at the snappy, snarky retorts when one of 'em pops off with "Didja hear Obama's cabinet has fifteen socialists in it?" or some other wingnuttery.

I wish I had an instant-on Google connection in my head so I could track down the source of their hogwash, find the contrary evidence, say it, and go "See? See? It's all lies you hicks!"

Well, apparently there has been a segment of the population out there who for years has thought Limbaugh was smart & entertaining; and if they are numerous enough to keep Limbaugh in business, then I guess it's no surprise that this guy has a job too.

I have a cartoon on my corkboard that shows two people talking at a cocktail party; the caption is "I was reading somewhere that people are stupid."

Practically every sentence out of his mouth was false.

And also, where was this outrage when Bush was president?!?!?! I don't understand. Bush spent tons of money, a lot of it going to social programs (but run through the churches, so that was ok, but government run is somehow the devil?)

I don't get it. I keep asking my dad, who voted for Bush both times and is Republican, but I can't get a clear answer. They didn't give a shit what he was doing, and now there is all this bullshit outrage while Obama isn't doing anything too different than Bush did (on the things they are upset about)

Fucking hacks.

Funny, no. Creepy? A little. I kept waiting for him to end the video with a threat to actually set the guy on fire unless the President gives him a million dollars, or something. It's a shame he's not brighter; that tendency towards self-aggrandizing melodramatic monologueing would otherwise be a good start on a career in suvervillainry.

What bugs me most about this asshole is not his theatrics, but that he presents himself as being some sort of "moderate" and "above partisan politics", and willing to agree to disagree with Obama, when in fact he's further right than Limbaugh, well into Michael Savage territory.

Bush spent tons of money, a lot of it going to social programs (but run through the churches...

Not all of it. There was also the prescription drug benefit plan, a huge increase in the welfare state, and something that the Republicans twisted many arms to get passed.

I thought conservatives were supposed to be manly men. So what's with Beck's blubbering?

conservatives have always been spineless and shiftless like this guy, that's why they don't rely on the truth to prove their arguments, instead they just tell us how they 'feel'. he's a mental wimp...

What a let down - he didn't set him on fire. All that and no pay off!

Listen beck boy if you are going to pull the bat shit crazy routine, you have to be ready to commit all the way. Otherwise you are just a full of shit whiny little bitch who should just stay home.

I find it hilarious that so many corn-holin' repukes, like Beckhole cry, "We want the Government games to stop." Sure, they want the games to stop NOW, after they played those games the last 8 years, destroyed our nation, and left the Democrats to pick up the pieces.

Every, single time I hear Beckhole "cry" his Obama Blues, I feel like I'm watching a man who constantly is bemoaning the fact that his penis is only a quarter the size of President Obama's.
