"Put the Fucking Poodle in the Basket"

Posted by Paul Constant on Tue, Apr 7, 2009 at 5:12 PM

Yet another instance of something that must have consumed a remarkable amount of time but somehow seems completely worth it: A musical version of the lotion-in-the-basket scene from Silence of the Lambs told completely in stop-motion Lego animation.

I'd love to see a complete, open source-style Silence of the Lambs musical done by a series of different animators.

Um. That song is FROM an extant Silence of the Lambs musical. It's called "Silence!"

This kind of thing usually annoys me: see specifically "The Internet is for Porn" featuring World of Warcraft characters. But this one is really really well made, so right on.

I hated silence of the lambs. I didn't get it. It was so over the top I lost interest.

But this. This makes me want to watch it again, see what I missed. This fucking creeps me OUT.

In high school, it was a bit of a cult hit with me and a few friends. To the point it became a comedy. I am glad I am not alone in seeing this side of it. BRiLLiant! Thank you Paul!

@idaho: Silence of the Lambs "over the top?" I found it rather understated, especially compared to the modern psychological horror pictures of today. Great lego work!
