Everyone Poops—the Trailer!

Posted by on Tue, Apr 7, 2009 at 4:07 PM

For everyone who's getting just a weeeeeee bit tired of the onslaught of twee films (think Adventureland, the upcoming Away We Go, and of course, Where the Wild Things Are), here's a fake trailer for Spike Jonze' next children's book adaptation, EVERYONE POOPS. It's twee-rific!

I didn't realize we were already supposed to be tired of Where the Wild Things Are.

I didn't know there was a such thing as "twee" and had to look it up -- who comes up with this stuff?

I use the word "twee" because "tween sex" has become so overused. Brendan Kiley Slogged about it in 2005: http://slog.thestranger.com/2006/02/twee…

whatever.
How is it that mouth-breathers continually find dick-and-fart jokes funny? They never grew past 6 years old, right?

ha ha... POOP! ha ha
ha ha... PENIS! ha ha
ha ha... BOOGER! ha ha
ha ha... FART! ha ha

I don't get it. Dick and fart jokes were never funny, were they? Are people's sense of humor really that pathetic?

@ 4, it's because our society is so uptight about those sort of involuntary behaviors and items. Laughing is not always intentional, if it ever is.

Oh, and mouth-breathers? So superior to them, aren't you! So mean and condescending is what that term is.

Eek! Just re-read my earlier post. I was hating on something else last night and it apparently got transferred to my post.

Let me reiterate... I simply don't find dick and fart jokes funny, but apparently others do. I don't get it but whatever.

OK, seriously, you're the worst. where the wild things are is going to be amazing, and Spike Jonze is one of the furthest things from twee you can get. try again
