Nearly 100 people die in an earthquake, and all you can think about is some homicidal, autistic, vampire fetishist.

She couldn't have felt it. She couldn't have felt anything. She's not capable of feeling, and that's one of the things you have to accept about her.

Every couple of months I read a post by Charles that sends me on a feverish quest to find some way to block all posts by him. If the authors were listed the same way as the post category, I could do it with AdBlocker, but no luck so far.

I know that there will be some people chiming in with "You get 'em, Chuck! You make Slog what it is." but damn Charles, you really can ruin the fun of reading this site.

My problem with this post is the absolute absence of mental illness as a possible cause for Chuck's obsession with this psycho bitch. I'm certain there are other factors and pressures but why no mention at all of mental illness? that is my point. the absence.

JC@9: you could do what I do at the "Every Child Deserves a Mother and a Father" posts: skip over them quickly. Certainly not open the comment thread and read them. And certainly not then comment on the comment thread.

Also insignificant: What was Berlusconi's last meal prior to getting the news.

And: Did the Pope pee himself?

And: What is the rodent death toll?

And so on. And on. And on.

It's a pretty Goddamned sad commentary that none of us had to wonder, even for a second, who "she" is.

More than 120 people at last count.

Some of whom are relatives of some of my friends I grew up with.

Maybe the cell door lock failed ...

For anyone who is interested in the facts behind the media spin, and who cares to learn more about the victim of this terrible murder - Meredith Kercher - there is an excellent discussion board

http://perugiamurderfile.freeforums.org/…

as well as an interesting blog

http://truejustice.org/ee/index.php

These online resources are not for profit. Anyone can read and/or participate and people from around the world do. They have followed this case since November 2007, and are in no way related to Amanda Knox. Nor are they her friends.
