Hetero Every Child Deserves a Mother and a Father

A western Pennsylvania mother has been charged with giving her 13-year-old daughter drugs and alcohol so the woman's boyfriend could get the girl pregnant, police said Thursday.

Shana Brown, 32, is no longer able to have children but wanted to have a baby with her current boyfriend, Duane Calloway, said Uniontown Police Det. Donald Gmitter. The pair decided to drug the girl so Calloway, 40, could have sex with her without her knowledge, he added.... The girl told police the plot was apparently hatched sometime in December after she rejected her mother's proposal that she allow Calloway to impregnate her and then marry him.

That 13 year old obviously hates babies, and does not mind her mother. She should be taken to the town square and stoned.

@1 Uh, where does it say that these people are Mormon or that the Mormon would condone this situation? I'm sure there are actual things to be upset with the Mormons about (Prop 8 money...) -- we don't have to resort to off-base attacks...

@6 Never said they were (fundamentalist) Mormons, but those are the EXACT beliefs they espouse.

Marry and knock up 13 year old? check.

And before you send out a pissy reply, do yourself a favor and look up the difference between Mormons and Fundamentalist Mormons.

@9. Yes, I understand the difference between regular Mormons and Fundamentalist Mormons, thank you for your concern. Marrying and knocking up a 13 year old is not the same as drugging a girl in order to have sex with and impregnate her, so that you can have another baby. I doubt even the Fundamentalist Mormons would be down with that....

#9: The difference between Fundamentalist and so-called "mainstream Mormons" is very minimal. Fundamentalist Mormons believe they should practice polygamy on Earth now. The so-called mainstream Mormons believe that as long as polygamy is illegal in the US, the men will grudgingly have to wait until the afterlife, when each man gets his own planet, to get additional wives. Just about everything else between the two, from adherence to the Book of Mormon to sacred underpants, is identical. If polygamy became decriminalized, "mainstream Mormons" would resume the practice immediately. Even now, "mainstream Mormons" in positions of power look the other way when there are problems with welfare fraud and child abuse in polygamous Mormon communities.

Gotta love it when my hometown makes Slog! And yes, Uniontown is a scary place. Once of my most vivid high school memories was a class argument regarding whether people of different races should be allowed to marry. And, unfortunately, breeding is the ultimate achievement. The more young minds to flood with your bigotry the better!
