The Times They Are A-Changin'

Posted by on Tue, Mar 24, 2009 at 3:20 PM

6914/1237933099-_madison.jpgFormer Stranger news editor Josh Feit (pictured) just became the first online reporter in the state to get official press credentials at the state Capitol in Olympia. Josh writes about state politics and occasionally encroaches on my city hall and transportation beat at Publicola.

Congratulations, and welcome to the future, Josh.

UPDATE: I realize now that Dan and I posted about this at (almost) the exact same time. But I'm leaving mine up because I like the photo of Josh.

Erica, how come your semi-mea culpa can't be found on line any more via a search of the past week's posts? I had a comment to add to the nearly 300 already made. Where'd it go? I've spent time re-reading posts all week, and it's not there.

Seems to be there to me. It's in her blogs archive at this address:

Anyhow, I think it's about time the powdered wig came back in.

"A couple of months ago, I left a QFC with a bottle of wine that I had failed to pay for."

Erica you have been convicted of stealing. Are you an alcoholic Erica? Are you mentally ill? A compulsive thief? What's going on Erica? Are you a closet Republican? You smear and betray people in this town on a regular basis and yet you want to be treated with kid gloves. You deserve no sympathy. You are a pathetic human being. Better than the war monger Dan Savage, but pathetic none the less.

Seek professional help Erica. Normal people do not steal wine from grocery stores.

If some gay bashing politician "failed to pay" for a bottle of wine and was arrested you and Dan would walk up one side and down the other of the sorry motherfucker.

But you Erica-are special.

Ron is special too, because he doesn't have to use hyphens correctly.

#8 --- how quaint --- the hyphen police from Tampa -- life a tad too wild -- I bet -- all that energy has to spill over - some - where

just to get you on the clue bus - the hyphen is replacing the comma, and colon, and other bric a brack -- makes sense in posts, after all, this is not 1950 and a business letter study

or - is - it?

Chris, nice to see you've gotten internet privileges back.
It was considerate of the staff to loosen your straitjacket enough for you to type.

Hey you guys - cut Erica some slack. It's not like she grew up in a wealthy Houston suburb, in a large house, in a white middle-class family, and then went on to college (paid for by mums and dadders?). She's had to claw her way up to where she is. At the very least, the world owes her a bottle of wine.
