So I can say that I am definitely gonna to do that—I am going to kill Dominic Holden with my bare hands—and not get in trouble with the city, even though murdering Dom is technically a crime. But I can't say I am going to run for mayor, which isn't a crime, without getting in trouble with the city.
I am running for mayor.

Yeah, uh....@6 is exactly right. It never said you are in trouble, it only said that they weren't sure if you were serious, and that if you were, you'd need to file paperwork within 2 weeks to be an official candidate. I know you always say the only qualification for being an advice columnist is people asking you for an advice, but I would've thought literacy and reading comprehension might be part of the mix as well. Guess not.
