Dan Savage Couldn't Strangle Me With Those Limp Wrists if He Tried

Posted by on Fri, Mar 20, 2009 at 12:03 PM

So I guess that because I don't harbor "a real fear that this person is capable of carrying out this threat" a felony charge is off the table. Hell, "Savage" hasn't even shown his face at the office—perhaps he's filing his mayoral campaign paperwork or just polishing off another box of breakfast Franzia.

Didn't Savage offer you in a passive way to come by and join-in on a threesome with him and Terry?

Stoner Flamer Fight! The throwdown should be held at the next Slog happy.

No, he didn't. But if he did offer, it would clearly be an [alleged] Amanda Knox-esque plot to kill me.

This is just another attempt to get away from the ECB fiasco. If Savage had any balls he would've made the death threat on someone that isn't a close friend and coworker.

Fail.

This would be the classic "Youth and Energy vs. Age and Treachery." As an old person, I have to put my money on Age and Treachery.

But we're gay, Sven. Youth always wins.

@14 troll,

Or just getting public attention to a sad-sack mayoral race where no one has the balls to run against a sad-sack incumbent, in the hopes of shaming a qualified candidate to run. If no qualified candidates run, then it doesn't really matter who declares, now does it. And at least Dan is honest about his intentions. Actually, I hope he truly declares, wins, goes back on his promise to resign and becomes Seattle's Big Gay Mayor, imposing shitty rules on those who imposed shitty rules on him and his ilk.

dan was stupid to make this threat. now, if he doesn't kill you the opposition will be able to accuse him of not keeping his promises to the people.
