There's Color-Blind Casting...

...and there's just plain ol' blind casting. James Franco is playing Allen Ginsberg in the film Howl.

he was still a whole lot homelier than franco. franco has male model-type features, ginsberg look like bug-eyed geek, albeit more attractive than when he was famous.

As I commented on another site, Franco looks about as much like Ginsburg as does Ru Paul.
