The new about the new batteries is pretty awesome stuff.

No longer will I have to wait hours for the batteries in my Xbox 720 to recharge. I can pop them in the charger, fix myself a microwave pizza, and enjoy hours more playtime.

Is anyone else bothered by the fact that the song makes reference to Jr. learning from his Uncle James? I mean, if his uncle is James and he's James Jr., what sort of twisted family situation do they have going on?

OMG that Geoff Brumfiel guy on the BBC website discussing the batteries is SOOOOOOO dreamy. I've never seen a rugged nerd before.

While you're at it, could some intrepid investigator - I know, I know, hard to find these days - see what the hell is up with the Workplace Privacy Bill that was summarily killed yesterday? Rumor has it the Dems, including The Gov caved in to Big Biz interests and squashed it, using the pretext of a "threatening letter" sent by WA State Labor Council promising to withhold political endorsements & financial support to any member of the Legislature that voted against it. Now, supposedly Gregoire has called in the State Patrol to investigate, even though, by all accounts the letter did nothing more than what Boeing, and their friends have been doing all along - threatening to take Labor's ball and go home if the Dems they've supported in the past didn't want to play ball with them.

Good luck getting anything out of anybody, though, for some reason nobody wants to talk about it.

These new batteries are just what electric autos need. I hope more research gets put into this and we get to see them in action in a couple of years.

Charles Freeman Jr., President Barack Obama's choice for a major intelligence post, has withdrawn his name because it's a big fat antisemitic lie that Zionist Jews run Washington DC.

@9, you can find the story in the Times this morning:

Boeing and other lobbyists pull the same crap all the time, but usually in the form of a quiet word with a bill proponent in Ulcer Gulch. The Labor Council, for God knows what reason, decided to put it in an email to legislators. In the trade, it's known as "stepping on your prick."

I remember having a crush on James Bond, Jr. as a kid. For the life of me, I can't remember why. Seeing that clip, maybe it had something to do with that awesome Mike Seaver hair.
