Choke One Out

Posted by on Mon, Mar 9, 2009 at 9:04 AM

Eliot Spitzer's madam warned her employees that the then-governor of New York liked to do certain things that they "might not think were safe," which is why the girls apparently got combat pay to sleep with the governor (5K a pop). Dr. Laura chided Mrs. Spitzer for not giving Mr. Spitzer whatever it was he needed to keep him happy and in her bed, even without knowing what that those unsafe things were. (“When the wife does not focus in on the needs and the feelings—sexually, personally—to make him feel like a man, to make him feel like a success, to make him feel like her hero, he’s very susceptible to the charm of some other woman," said Dr. Laura. "What if he wanted to shit in his wife's mouth?" I asked Dr. Laura in a Slog post.

Well, we may know now what it was that Eliot was willing to pay for.

His political rivals used to accuse Eliot Spitzer of going for the jugular. Now a new call girl is claiming the former governor literally went for hers—claiming he wrapped his fingers around her neck during some kinky role-playing.

More here.

UPDATE: "Dan always seems to forget to mention political affiliation when the perverts are Democrats," says Rob in the comment thread. Hm. I didn't realize that sleeping with women made you a pervert in the eyes of the Republican faithful, but for the record: Spitzer was the Democratic governor of New York. And what was scandalous about his private sexual conduct was the hypocrisy—Spitzer had gone after prostitution rings and their clients as New York's attorney general—and not the genitalia.

Dipping cigars in the cunts of an impressionable young White House intern, now choking whores - why are former democratic govs so kinky?

#1, that's because democrats aren't generally politically hypocritical when they have sex scandals. Anti-prostitution crusader Spitzer is an exception.

Good Morning Dan,
Yikes! Thanks for the link. Those pics of Ms. Dupre. Wow! what a babe. At $5000 an apppointment she better be.

BTW, nice question to Dr. Laura. Nobody whether an escort or a spouse should have to do unsafe sexual activities for any amount of money or love. That's just unfair.

The only people who think that choking during sex is kinky are the same people who wouldn't dream of anything but lights-off missionary-style vanilla sex.

@10, 12

I dunno, I'm hella kinky...

but choking is a big fat NO for me unless I trust somebody...by which I mean, I've played with them many times, and they come with peer reviews.

...

And, I don't think that most prostitutes, high priced call girls or not, have THAT much trust in their clients.

Spitzer also had the temerity to call for investigations of unethical lending practices of Bush cronies in the financial services industry. Mysteriously, shortly thereafter he was found to be patronizing expensive escort services, publicly exposed (unlike many other high-profile clients of the same services) and hounded from office in the ensuing scandal. Salacious, shocking sexual details aside, that's the real story here -- one of the only politicians blowing the whistle on the house of cards that the lending industry had become was taken down for trying to expose it. We now know that he was right to call for investigations of those institutions, and we still haven't seen a complete airing of their dirty laundry.

But by all means, keep talking about what a kinky dude he was. Shocking! By the way, have you seen your 401k lately?

why are we still talking about this? Spitzer is out of public office, he apologized, why the hell is this worth a post? I don't give a shit what kind of sex he had.

Dan, your cattiness is one of your most lovable traits. After all, how does the Dr. Laura quote when distilled down really differ from this...

their husbands have a right to cheat on 'em if they don't put out (and wives have a right to cheat on their husbands for the same reason)...

..that you said later in the day?

I wonder about those wide-open beaver photos Dr. Laura took of her, uh, wide-open furry beaver when she was young.

Sitting bare-assed on a filthy wall-to-wall carpet with your furry bush and pink vag all at ninety degrees indicates an over-eager desire to be sexy, but no real understanding of how to do it.

Like, Dr. Laura, hello? You could've put on a garter belt and laid in a tub of frothy bubbles with only your titties and your fluffy bush showing (I saw that pose in a Hustler magazine once. It was hot. More Playboy than Hustler, though).

But, sitting bare-assed on that disgusting carpet with nothing on but tanlines made you look like a desperate, insecure young woman with not the slightest clue of sexuality or sexiness or any concept involving sex.

It wasn't sexy, my dear Dr. Laura.

It was sad.

The photos said, "Please, just fuck me. I'm just an empty person with no character, no sense of myself, so all I have to offer is my young cunt. Who doesn' like a young cunt, right? Here it is. Right between the tanlines. I'm just gonna plop down on this ugly, wall-to-wall carpet and sit here with my cooch open to the fleas and mites hopping about this carpet and to any human male who might walk into the room."

And, that sadness and desperation has never left poor Dr. Laura, has it?

The form of its expression has changed, but the sadness and desperation are still there.

She has traded simply spreading her legs and saying "please" for raging against women.

She is a bitter woman and she wants all others to be like her, so she will feel less alone.

Unfortunately, she will always be alone. She cannot drag other women down. She is unique in her accursedness.

And, deep in her embittered heart, she knows this.

Still, she has not been able to see the folly of her own self in all these years. She refuses to see the truth about herself, about her soul.

Instead of growing wiser with age, she traded numb, promiscuous fucking for rage.

Nasty older women like her who pretend to give good advice but really seek to undermine younger women because they cannot stand to see others have the happiness in life these hags never had were usually promiscuous and desperate when they were younger.

And, even back in their younger, slutty days, the sex was probably not even barely passable as sex. They probably never had a real roll in the hay with someone who set them afire and the kind of orgasm that makes time stop.

That's because they're uptight. Who knows what causes it? The cause for the cursed existence of Dr. Laura and women like her is a mystery. Is it Calvinist pre-determination? We will never know.

So anyway, after years of fruitless and numb fucking, sans the sweet, orgasmic apex or even anything approaching pleasure, they become uptight, conservative and misogynistic.

Some of them get their own radio shows.

Even though the cause of their unfortunate existence is mysterious, the evidence of their cursed existence is quite corporeal -- promiscuity in youth and rage in old age.

Dr. Laura used to be an eager, clueless slut. Now, she's a bitter old hag.

"I've never been worried about my safety, but I was really concerned. Finally, I pushed him away and got up. He hadn't finished. But I'd had enough. I don't think he was planning on really hurting me. He didn't ask if I was all right. He didn't appear to be mad, either. Maybe he had had so many experiences with other people that he could see I didn't know what I was doing. As he was leaving, he gave me a tip." (that's from the article)

It sounds to me that the former Governor should learn a few things such as safe words, aftercare and the meaning of the motto "Safe, Sane, and consentual." Not to mention, perhaps he should've seen a dominatrix (who would know a bit more about role play) rather than a prostitute. Not to mention, if he had seen one then he wouldn't have sounded like such a hypocrite.

As for blaming his wife about not pleasing him, I think that is bullshit. For all we know, he never had the guts to tell his wife about his kinks. It takes a lot of guts to admit to somebody about these things even after many years of marriage. Not to mention, I don't think it's her fault even if he did tell her and she wouldn't go with it. Could they have agreed to something where he would go elsewhere to exercise his more "dangerous" desires? I guess we'll never know.
