Now Available to Watch Instantly on Netflix

I can't believe I've never heard of Loose Cannons before:

a152/1236385842-60028817.jpgA Washington D.C. cop (Gene Hackman) teams up with a man afflicted with a multiple personality disorder (Dan Aykroyd) who speaks in the voices of Tweety Bird, Captain Kirk, Pee-Wee Herman, Ricky Ricardo and the Wicked Witch of the West. Together, they trail a gang of neo-Nazis in an attempt to capture a porno film featuring Adolph Hitler in bed with a man who's about to be elected chancellor of West Germany.

How could this movie possibly turn out wrong? And what if we remake it with Russell Crowe in the Hackman role and Vincent D'Onofrio as Aykroyd?

I find the fact that this film even exists to be very disturbing. That I will probably end up watching it is something I am not proud of.

I have watched it. One night on late TV, I was to stoned to find the remote and up comes this wonderful comedy. Don't think German Chancellor, think republicans. Don't think Hitler think male prostitute. You will not stop laughing.

Thanks for driving another nail into the coffin of your local independent video store. I'm sure that once Scarecrow goes under the Stranger will run a nice little obituary.

robot, I think Paul has driven another nail into his own critic coffin. The man never ceases to amaze me. First MELANCHOLY, then THE WATCHMAN, and now this. What a fucking tool.

@4@5

Seriously? Have you never watched a movie so bad it's good? You have no sense of humor. Every time you post a comment on the internet, God masturbates a kitten.

At the end of this film Hackman gets recruited by the Mossad on the condition that goes to get circumcized. True story.

We need to not encourage anyone to give Vincent D'Onofrio, the "Calculon" of the human set, anymore acting jobs.

Huh.
Warren Ellis (DESOLATION JONES) has a lot to answer for.

bearseatbeats the problem is that Paul doesn't value his local video store not that he suggested people check out this film. The link isn't to Scarecrow, Rain City, or 15th Avenue. Its to FUCKING Netflix.

The number of great Dan Aykroyd roles that didn't involve John Belushi can be counted on zero hands.
