Police Investigating Overnight Shootings

Posted by on Sat, Mar 7, 2009 at 2:19 PM

Around 12:30 this morning, two off-duty officers working near Taylor Ave N and Thomas Street reported hearing shots fired.

While police were en route, a man approached the off-duty officers and told them he had been shot.

According to SPD spokeswoman Renee Witt, the man was shot in the "butt area." and a bullet also grazed his ear.

The man was taken to Harborview and SPD's gang unit responded to the scene.

About an hour and a half later, officers on patrol near the Venom Night Club reported hearing gunfire on Blanchard and Elliot. Witnesses at the scene told police that a man in a white sedan fired several shots from his car and fled southbound on the viaduct. It does not appear anyone was hurt in the shooting.

Police stopped a vehicle matching witnesses' description on 1st Avenue South and South Spokane Street, but did not find a gun or shell casings. The three men inside the car were released.

It seems to be pretty popular among 'gangstas' who aren't really as hard as they say they are, to shoot someone in the ass instead of the head. I've read a lot of stories like this from around Seattle. It's like getting the credit for shooting someone, so you can brag to your friends without fear of a major investigation or charges.

Seattle has no real gangs. They're all doing an impersonation of the tougher gangs. Losers.

The Butt Area used to be a great Seattle neighborhood...just south of the CD near Beacon Hill. You used to able to get hot cross buns there. All parking was rear angle in only.

It seems to be pretty popular among complete jerkoffs that have no idea what street life is really like to decide what makes a real gangsta based on watching The Wire and feeling superior to those who aren't sheltered white boys like yourself, You you you you. Idiot troll.
