Recipe Of The Day

THE INCREDIBLE SULK'S PUNK ROCK BREAKFAST WITH THE SULK

Serves one

Ingredients:

One (1) 12-oz serving of corn flakes, preferably the cheap, generic house brand kind
One (1) 12-oz can of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, preferably the last cold one left in the fridge at 7 AM, or whenever you happen to hangoverly fall out of bed
One (1) copy of "Damaged" by Black Flag, preferably a vinyl one, scratched up sufficiently so as to attain proper "street cred"

Instructions:

1. Wake up
2. Fall back asleep
3. Wake up again
4. Desperately drain any flat beers left over from previous night
5. Put "Damaged" on "the box"
6. Crawl towards kitchen
7. Pour corn flakes into bowl, preferably a clean one
8. Pour PBR over corn flakes
9. Eat
10. Enjoy, or at least attempt to
11. Fart
12. Barf
13. Pass out on kitchen floor

THE INCREDIBLE SULK'S PUNK ROCK BREAKFAST WITH THE SULK WILL EPICALLY IMPROVE YOUR "PUNK" "STREET" "CRED," MAKE YOU EVEN MORE "PUNK" THAN BILLIE JOE ARMSTRONG!

And no, I don't feel like letting it go.

So many of the state's budget cuts will come to bite us in the ass. Sure, we'll save some money by cutting programs for criminals with mental health issues--until they go out and commit a heinous crime in a year or two. Likewise, those foster kids we're screwing over now will either cost more money because they'll be poor parents or they'll be mixed up in the criminal justice system.

I'm all for eliminating programs that don't work, but not every "discretionary" program is worth cutting in the long run.

Quite possibly the best Muppets segment ever.

@8 - indeed, and unless I'm much mistaken, it appeared as the very first bit on the very first episode of the Muppets. Now that's how you kick off a TV show!

I would be embarrassed to ever admit how often I watch that clip. Thank you Paul, if even for just a minute, for giving me a compatriot in my shame.

Before the Muppets used that song it was in a sort-of X-rated sort-of documentary called Sweden -- Heaven and Hell. Here's a YouTube clip with the song:

And an awesome but NSFW trailer for the movie:
