Bitch Fight

Posted by on Mon, Mar 2, 2009 at 1:34 PM

The Republicans' titular leader Michael Steele slipped up this weekend and told the truth about actual leader Rush Limbaugh: Steele called Limbaugh "incendiary" and "ugly." Today Limbaugh condemned Steele for being "obsessed with seeing" President Obama succeed and advised his listeners to stop giving money to the Republican National Committee.

Fight! Fight! Fight!

I just love this!! Keep going GOP, keep on going!!! Obama really can royally screw up and win a landslide in 4 years.

Seriously though, I think this will kill of what remains of the GOP and then the Democrats will break off into liberal and progressive wings.

We will end up with three parties for awhile which will work itself back into two parties.

Do you mean the comedian Rush "Family Values" Limbaugh, leader of the republican party?

I'd suggest a cage match (wouldn't you love to see them in a big cage with baseball bats?) but that would end too quickly. I think we should do everything we can to keep the fight going. Log into Limbaugh's site and egg him on, do the same with Steele. Eventually I'd like to hear Rush say he wants to cut Steele's nuts off Sharpton style.

Forty years in the wilderness, this is their fate.

Meanwhile they are whining about getting more tax cuts for the rich, while under President Obama 95 percent of American citizens get a tax cut and the top tax rate on the rich and ultra-rich is the same as it was under President Reagan.

Wilderness can't come soon enough for them - somebody set up a mud pit.

The split is coming. Intellectuals vs the fucking pinheads.

Wait for it...the party of Goldwater vs. the party of Palin.

As Big Sven so eloquently stated over the weekend, I am not a Democrat, but the Republicans are so fucking batshit crazy that nobody in their right mind would want to have anything to do with them.

And they're getting crazier by the minute.

Two men enter, one man leaves.

Rush is Master Blaster.

Shit, now I'm in the position of agreeing with both of them. Rush is an asshole and I think we should not be send $$ to the GOP

Rotten666 at @6 (ha!) beat me to it -- I'm just hoping against hope that we're seeing the beginning of The Great Split of the GOP...

On the one side, reasoned thoughtful arguments for personal rights and responsibilities, small government, fiscal conservatism... On the other, snake-handlin, speakin in tongues, cheerin, whoopin, winkin and carryin on.....

Confronted with the fact that things went horribly wrong under prior idiot leadership, the reigning leaders begin blaming one another for not being idiotic enough. Unbelievable.

Rush is a mean spirited, and, yes, ugly gasbag. But what he betrays about himself and the Republican party when he says he hopes Obama fails is that they only care about themselves. That is why, when they have power, they only help each other and the rest of America can go to hell. But the great middle, the moderates, the unaffiliated hear them talk this way and they don't like it and they know it's bad for our country. The Republicans were given the chance to solve America's problems and instead they looted the treasury for their rich friends and left a mess for the Democrats to clean up. And, afterall, don't the Democrats always come to the aide of our country when the Republicans have run America into the ditch? Let's hope they continue their squabbling and slandering, true to form, and leave themselves no place to go but political exile.

How many of you that trashed Rush actually listened to his speech?
Posted by raindrop on March 2, 2009 at 3:04 PM

@17: Listening to Rush is proven to kill brain cells, and I already have alcohol for when I want to do that.

Yes, @17, some of actually DID listen to his speech, and he was clearly unapologetic, reiterating his desire to see Obama fail.

So, your point would be - ?

Right.
Steele and Rush bickering is sure going to take America's mind off an economy and Stock Market swirling down the crapper.
And guarantee Obama's re-election.
Right.

The Republican Party has become a massive joke. CPAC hosted Limbow-wow (he's such a cute, rabid pitbull), Coulter(geist), Phyllis Shclafly, Newt Gingrich, Sean Hannity, one of the Baldwin brothers (I think it's the very stupid one). Not one of those people are capable of holding the office of dog catcher.

Honestly, it takes energy to hate people. And at the CPAC there was a LOT of hot air and wasted energy. Not ONE positive idea came out from this hate fest. Hate fills the void of creative and positive thinking.
