It has come to Slog's attention that Bark Bus has been added to Friends of Slog—this despite the fact that 62% of Slogpersons polled felt that Bark Bus should be only the object of Slog's profound indifference.

As you might suspect, Dan Savage is to blame.

He responded to this inquiry:
"WHY??? the people will want to know!!! ARE YOU JUST A CONTRARY GOD-MAN???"
thusly:
"yes."

I think I remember that Dan's husband and son have a yippy little poodle he's not too fond of? Perhaps he's hoping that the Bark Bus will take the dog on a free hike. A toy poodle is probably pretty easy pickins' for any wild animal...

Dan is only protecting us from the tyranny of the majority, just like the CA Supreme Court is going to do when they tell us that Prop 8 isn't constitutional, despite the fact that a majority of voters checked the Yes box.
