News from the Animal Kingdom

Posted by on Tue, Feb 24, 2009 at 9:39 AM

And you thought you could hide from us, you rare cheetah. But no matter how fast you run, or how dark the night that obscures you, we will find and capture you. Do not mess with us—we are the humans.

Have they ever messed with us? Did we capture them?

@2 - it's pretty entertaining to see you reveal your level of obsession over and over.

I can attest that I am a separate poster from #2.

"Charles Muhdik" @ 2 is not the same poster as #1. We are just referring to the same meme.

So if there are only 250 of them, we almost never see them, and know nothing about them, will we really actually miss them if they vanish?

Charles is afraid of the real world.

Someone else's meme? AYFKM?

Meme is not singular. It is a collective trend/joke shared among members/disparate groups.

LONG-EARED JERBOA MEME FAIL.

Memes do not "belong" to anyone. A meme cannot be "stolen" or "copied".

7, you have to be aware of something first before you can fear it.

Memes are viral, Jerboa. They're like a natural wildfire that just sweeps you up into its blaze. You can't stop them. A meme is like an unspoilable birthday party, Jerboa. Once you can get a meme rolling (without trying), it's like a heavy boulder that can cause serious problems. If you can just tap into the right meme, you can really get everything to sort of snap into place. You can't really tell where a meme comes from. I call fail on @8 as well.

Somebody fucking look up the definition of meme if you're going to argue about it.

@ 12

TOUCH!

@ 6

We'll miss them if it turns out their saliva can cure cancer. Or at least you will.

@17

Well the article failed to mention the curative effects of their saliva. Better round them all up and start factory farming them pronto!

I hope science's (our) intention for the cheetahs is more benevolent than Charles'. Animal life is worthwhile, regardless of what they can (or can't) do for us.
