Does anyone remember "Trim Jeans Theatre" from Monty Python's Flying Circus?

This is bogus. Sure, you'll lose a pound or two, and drop a half dress size, but it's all water weight, which can vary significantly anyway, depending on how hydrated or dehydrated you are. True weight loss (loss of fat in fat cells; I'm sure nutritionists have a fancy word for this) is measured over weeks, not days or hours.

re: Pakistan

Has Obama ever read about the Tarbaby?

Does he know how things went in Cambodia?

Secret wars are a lousy idea.

Obama has packed his "change" administration with Clinton stooges so it should come as no surprise but a month into his term the stock market is back down to where it was when Bill lived in the White House.

On my Sunday runs in Seward Park I often see a woman wearing one of those suits. She's going to keel over from heatstroke one of these days.

@4,

Yeah, keep blaming the Dems for what Bush et al did. The American people won't see right through you.

There's a new sheriff in town!
As soon as he fishes his bullet from his pocket he is going to blast the recession.

Dear Tricky Dick:

There is a group in Pakistan that murdered Benzir Bhutto, the female, democratic, anti authoritarian favored by most folks to take power when that military guy was forced out a while ago. They bombed her, she died.

Her husband now is prez or something.

The missile strikes you refer to were directed at the guy who murdered Bhutto.

Now if someone murdered Harper, or Gordon Brown, or Merkel, would it be okay with you if those govts. got help from Obama to you know, go wipe out the murderers?

The equation to Cambodia is a bit off.

It's called
R A T I O N A L I Z A T I O N
It's one of those little moral shortcuts we take when our hero turns out to have clay feet.

It'll be a very cold day in hell when the U.S. federal government stands up to the parasite state of Israel.
