Diamonds in the Sky is an anthology of astronomy-based science fiction stories. You can scan the table of contents and read stories online here. I'm fond of this one, by Mary Robinette Kowal: The astronomical conceit is what it would be like to live on a planet with Saturn-like rings. It's good, quick sci-fi perfect for a lunch break about a girl and her fuzzy pet giant spider.
