Depending on who you ask, I'd think most computers are already smarter than Drudge.

Has Drudge been relevant since Lewinsky?

What Computers Still Can't Do...

But the amazing thing is that after 50 years of trying, they're not at all good at answering a simple question...in our case we ask "What is the last name of the President of the United States?". While someone could write a program that has a database of questions and correct answers and this program would read YRIHF's question and SELECT the answer, I don't think anyone has come up with a good bot to read, analyze and answer all questions that we could possibly use as our filter!

Computers are pretty cleve, but I don't think they'll ever be clever than humans.

Are you kidding? A 1970's era pocket calculator would be smarter than Drudge.

Hell, I'll bet my digital watch IS smarter than Drudge. It can tell me the temperature, the barometric pressure, wake me up on command, and point me in the direction of Magnetic North, none of which I'll wager he can do.

At least computers can correct grammar. Looks like Drudge needs a better one for his headlines.

I'm picturing Drudge... and Rush... and Ann Coulter... and Sean Hannity... and Bill O'Reilly... as the five humans trapped inside the computer AM in Ellison's "I Have No Mouth..." short story. And suddenly I'm sympathizing completely with the computer...

Now...which one ends up with no mouth...?

Drudge is just a man whose circumstances went beyond his control.
