For Your Afternoon Enjoyment

Posted by on Mon, Feb 2, 2009 at 2:18 PM

ce63/1233604310-bubblespinner.jpgYesterday, while home sick, I really got into Bubble Spinner. It's a little flash game involving the Tetris-like pursuit of matching three bubbles of the same color (in order to make them disappear) with the obnoxious-yet-addicting twist of adding physics to the game. It's like playing a weird sort of pool on a table that spins with every shot. I recommend it.

Stop it, Paul. After an addiction to Snood, like, 8 years ago, that soaked up a ridiculous amount of time and almost gave me carpal tunnel, I went cold turkey on puzzle-based computer games. You are like an evil temptress signing a siren song of procrastination...

Nice find, Paul. Really unique alt of Bust-A-Move and Snood.

If this gets your rocks off, then your mind might totally asplode upon trying Cubello for the Wii. Same color-matching, same rotating block of cubes, only now with the spatial issues of a 3D cube and a weird-ass robo-voice: http://slog.thestranger.com/slog/archive…

I second Abby's comment. I've forwarded Sirtet around to all my friends and family so they took can taste the addiction.

I hate color based games since I am colorblind.... why can't they be different shapes or something?

If you like this and Snood, you might want to check out Bubbletown, it has certain levels that are like this, plus there are power-ups.
