Crime Fatal Shooting In West Seattle

Seattle Police are looking for two homicide suspects after a fatal shooting in West Seattle late last night.

Police say a 25-year-old man was walking in the 4700 block of California Avenue SW when two other men in a white sedan opened fire, striking him twice.

The wounded man was able to make it inside of nearby restaurant, Talarico's Pizzeria and Lounge, where he collapsed. He was taken to Harborview where he died several hours later.

@3: last time i checked, the 4700 block of california avenue was frequented by rich white folks. unless something has drastically changed pretty recently.

My prayers are with the family and friends of the young victim. I live in W. Seattle not far from the junction......and I am not "rich white folks." Some of the comments already put in here are pretty disturbing. Anyone else want to leave comments..? If so, make them worth while.

@9: didn't mean to insinuate that that area is *all* rich white folks. but several of the business cater pretty much exclusively to that demographic in that immediate area of west seattle (although certainly not *all* of west seattle).

Some of these postings are absolutely disguisting! I was at Talarico's the night of the shooting, I was holding the victims wounds as he was bleeding. Stop talking about the mayor and race and drive bys (which it wasn't by the way) and give some sympathy to this man's family and friends! Or if you can't muster up the courage to do that, then go some where else, some peope are tyring to mourn the loss of a loved one!
