I Would Totally Have Read All of These

Spacesick has a collection of smartly designed covers for imaginary novelizations of movies. I really like the Highlander one, to the left, but Space Jam looks pretty good, too, as does Teen Wolf/Teen Wolf 2. Ghostbusters seems like a real missed opportunity, though.

Yeah, have to say that Ghostbusters is not great. But the covers for Ghost Dad and Face/Off are a million times better than either of those movies ever could have been (I only saw the latter, so okay, I'm assuming on GD.

I bet some of those movies really were novelized already. They novelized all kinds of weird shit in the 70s and 80s. (I used to have a novelization of the Stephen Sondheim/Anthony Perkins-scripted curiosity "The Last of Sheila", and one of Dennis Potter's "Brimstone and Treacle" with lots of creepy-sexy pictures of Sting.)

These remind me of this guy Olly Moss's remade movie posters: http://www.slashfilm.com/2009/01/14/cool…. I think they're hit and miss but overall impressive. I like this trend

I'm biased, but my favorite by far is the final entry.

The Ghostbusters one was actually my favorite...if only for the bizarre attempt, out of all of them, at subtlety.
