Get Ready

Posted by on Fri, Jan 30, 2009 at 4:46 PM

On March 15th, the Truther assault on Barack Obama begins.

It's like Zeitgeist or those other Truther films, with Obama instead of 9/11, but the end result...that some magical cabal of evil men are going to make a New World the same. I'm hoping that this will be the end of the 9/11 Truth Movement as we know it. Here are quotes from the comments on this trailer:

OBAMA is a SELL OUT... Illuminati got the american people gass up... HOOK LINE and SINKER

Last night I had a dream that I lived in a country where everyone was judged by the content of their character and not just blindly followed because of their shade of skin color.

Then I woke up and realized it was all just a dream.

Watch "V For Vendetta".
Bush and Obama are 2 puppets working for the same puppet master. It has been that way since JFK.

I love that V for Vendetta is the new Fight Club. In the end of that movie everybody dresses exactly alike and passively watches while somebody else does something and they call it a revolution. Way to stick it to the sheeple. And, as to the trailer: way to seem extra-relevant, Truthers.

Are they like those Seventh Day Adventists?

Epic scheduling fail: March 15 is also the release date of Barack Obama Is A Salamander, the "explosive" documentary that reveals the shocking truth about how the US government is controlled by shape-shifting reptiles.

I hate it when that happens!

Wait. I thought he was a socialist, Muslin, terrorist sympathizer. Now these guys say he's just the same as Bush. I'm so confused.

So Paul thinks individuality is defined by the way one dresses. Pretty sad. Meanwhile I'm sure he and other "true individualists" probably wear very unique clothes yet think more in alignment with sheeple about the major issues such as 9/11.
In the context of the graphic novel and film, dressing as V was actually a radical act because of what he represented as well as because in the police surveillance society they lived in to speak out against the government without a cloak of anonymity would be suicide.

I love how propagandaish these things are.

@5 And in the Matrix you had to take a red pill to get free. Our Matrix is much stronger. I suggest you try at least a hundred.

Agree with 5 about the V thing - the reason it was revolutionary was because they weren't even supposed to leave their homes, let alone march against their oppressive government, and they did it anyway.

OMG. What a fucking terrible trailer. It goes on forever, seems to have no narrative thread, and conveys nothing but scattered paranoia. How, how, how do people sit through this shit for an hour or more?

The 9/11 "truthers" remind me of the "there is a face on Mars and NASA is covering it up" people. No matter how many facts are presented to them they just dig in their heels. They used to chase peole like them with butterfly nets, now they chase them with TV cameras.

Remember when they made the face in Mars thing into a movie?

I think I'm gonna make a shitty documentary about the "mass conspiracy" behind all these dumbass conspiracy videos.

Man, Alex Jones represents the stupidest variety of 'truthers.' For those of us who doubt the official story of 9-11, curiosity on the subject is really all there is. The fact that it's been commoditized and packaged to sell to dumb 'NWO'/'Satanist conspiracy' believers is not our fault. Give it a break, these guys, or anyone who's ever sold a video or hosted a radio show, do not represent the entirety of people who want to know the truth about what happened. It's like representing the gay community with molesting preists. Give it a break.

Many Who oppose the murderous behavior of the US in Iraq (and around the world) sincerely believe that Bush and the people who control him are an aberration. Following this idea, in the minds of many Americans who oppose the war, that electing a Democratic president would somehow change everything and return sanity to the world. The Bush regime’s criminality is, in fact, totally consistent with the conduct of virtually every American administration of whatever party since the American Revolution. In this fact, I can agree that no matter how great Obama may seem we still live in the most active imperialist nation. However, I feel this trailer is a little much. For more (reliable and not-so half assed) social awareness please visit
watch the videos, read the posts, make comments.. get involved. I strongly suggested watching the three part BBC produced series 'Power Of Nightmares.'

I cant believe people still honestly think that the U.S. goverment DIDNT plan/pay for/organize 9/11...really? as for the Zeitgeist comment that was an actually good/factual movie this crap by Alex Jones is just retarded. Besides these days anyone can call anything truth and find evidence to back up their arguement in the end we each just choose what makes us feel better to believe. I believe Alex Jones is an idiot and Peter Joseph is rational but that is merely my opinion.

Obama's a moderate, it's why I voted for him. He pisses off the wacky left and wacky right.

Oh, by the way, I can't even see why those conspiracy (if they were true) would be a problem.

North American Union, end of religion, reduction of population through contraception and the Gay Agenda. I for one welcome our new Illuminati overlords!

Most of the conspiracy theorists have never managed an organization bigger their own nuts. Seriously, if they ever had, they'd know how impossible it would be to fake 9/11 working with thousands of real people, flaws and all.

It is sad that their are people with the requisite imagination to be "Truthers" and yet live such impoverished lives as to believe such drivel.
