Breaking News / Books John Updike

Dead of lung cancer at 76. I wrote about him and his recent trip to Seattle here. I'll be writing more about Updike later today.

Oh.....
What a drag. It's a huge loss, he was really an American treasure. I was really hoping he'd get the Nobel before he died. Sad.
