GLAAD About the Boy (Who's Actually a Man Dressed Like an Extravagantly Unkempt Woman)

For the past 19 years, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation has bestowed awards on gay and gay-friendly artists, entertainers, and media professionals, and this year, Seattle's own Dina Martina is nominated in the category Outstanding New York Theater: Off-Off-Broadway, for her show Dina Martina: Off the Charts!

Full list of this year's nominees here.

In other Dina news, Re-bar will be opening a new Dina Martina show in mere weeks. Dina Martina's Cherished Chestnuts is a "greatest hits o' Dina" show, and there is nothing in the world better than a Dina Martina greatest-hits show. Seriously, last time she did one of these, I was required to fly friends in from out of town, on my own dime, for their own good.
