I think other people are discovering, as I have, that there is an important difference between telling other people to go take pictures of sexy baristas / construction workers / office drones / etc. and actually having the balls to go and ask that person if you can take their picture for The Stranger's list of sexiest Seattleites.
For my part, that's just not something I feel comfortable doing.
@3 - Plus, I think many people are hesitant to submit non-ironic sexy pics of themselves, since it's kind of a vain thing to do (I'm not from Seattle, so I'm assuming here)...
Maybe next year, if you want people to submit pics of themselves, you should have a best 'nerd to knockout' or 'geek to chic' or whatever, category where people submit a sexy current pic and a pic of themselves in their most awkward of teen / pre-teen years. That way there's some self-depreciating aspect to it too (and we would get to laugh at embarrassing pictures of people).
